Arthritis foundation favorably reviews Tutto Luggage
- ATLANTA-- The arthritis foundation has favorably reviewed Mascot Metropolitan's Tutto Luggage.
- "It is with pleasure that we award Mascot Metropolitan this favorable Review," said Jerry G. Langley, Chair of the Arthritis foundation. "An evaluation of this product by a panel of health-care professionals, consumers and foundation staff found that for people with arthritis, Tutto Luggage provides a sifnificant improvement in ease of Use over other types of luggage."
- Features of the luggage Evaluated were: The four wheel base, which lessens weight and strain on the user's back and arms; Rigid U-shaped puller bar anchored to each side of the frame, which makes it easier to maneuver the luggage and takes the bend and reach out of wheeling luggage; location of the wheels, which improves balance and traction; and light weight of the product.
- The arthritis Foundation is the source of help and hope for the nearly 40 million Americans who have arthritis. The foundation supposrts research to find ways to cure and prevent arthritis diseases, and seeks to improve the quality of life for those affected by arthritis.

- Bags were tested with the following: Tumbling packed each bag to its limit with bricks swaddled in towels. We then placed each bag inside a six-foot hexagonal revolving drum. The bags tumbled for 1000 revolutions or until they were no longer usable.. Handle fatigue: We suspended a bag loaded with towel wrapped bricks from the straps of a machine that lifted and dropped it 37 times a minute. The machine hoisted each bag up to 25,000 times--or until the handle gave way. frame strength. We let a 150lb weight sit atop an empty pulman case for five minutes. Thirty minutes after we the weight, we checked to see if it had left a dent large enough to interfere with packing.

Carrying the load: an open and shut case

- If your traveling road show includes a heavy or bulky entourage of equipment, try Mascot Metropolitan's $195 High-Tech Tutto Compu-cruiser. The 20 by 13 inch bag has four built in wheels (instead of the usual two) on a fiberglass frame that's sturdy enough to handle a top -loaded 100 pound stack. Inside the ballistic nylon case are removable padded bags to protect computer equipment and a bevy of side pockets for files and accessories. A retractable U-shaped puller bar made hauling a 50 lb load seem like carrying feather pillows. To top it off, the compu-Cruiser fits airline's carry-on requirements.
